I’m having a little bit of a hard time writing in general lately. Tired? Maybe. Not burned out, though afraid of it. There has<\/em> been some good poetry happening, and maybe I should accept that editing\/writing poetry is a longer, more deliberate process than fiction. Spring is usually a time of depression and downtroddenness, and there have been some personal things happening that make “crafting sentences” a more Herculean task than usual. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"505\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lazyandentitled.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-162658342\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.lazyandentitled.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-1.png 960w, https:\/\/www.lazyandentitled.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-1-300x158.png 300w, https:\/\/www.lazyandentitled.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/image-1-768x404.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/>
see? don’t they look like writing is hard?
